2^nd Yr. Sacramental Preparation
Welcome!! This is an exciting time for you and your child. We are excited to partner with you to help prepare your child to celebrate Reconciliation and First Eucharist sacraments. You have the wonderful opportunity to explain and demonstrate God's way of life.
What is required this year?

Students will need a minimum of 25 credits. 18 of those credits will be class credits, and 7 will be Explore Four activity/events credits. Due by May 1^st (exception will be the last class).

• A  minimum of 15 in-person and a maximum of 3 make-up classes.
• Make-up lessons must be completed online through students' Saint Mary's Press Go Seek Find eLearning dashboard. Parents will receive login information via email and in class.
• Students must complete the make-up lesson within 2 weeks of the missed class.
• Students will not need to turn in anything, they will only need to complete the online lesson.

• Sacramental Curriculum: Go Seek Find curriculum. (18 Sacramental Lessons) .
  • 18 Chapters
    • Reconciliation: 8 lessons (First Semester)
    • First Eucharist:10 Lessons (2^nd semester)

• • 7  Explore Four Event/Activities  -
    • The online Explore Four Reflection form will need to be filled out to receive credit for the activity/event. One form per family in Children's faith formation. If you have a student in Youth Ministry, they will need to complete the Youth Ministry Reflection form.

• Penance Service – There will be two Penance service opportunities to choose from. A sign-up will be sent as we get closer to the date.

• First Holy Communion
  • Dates- The weekend of May 6th^h – 7^th and May 13th-14
• Mass attendance - This can be in-person or at-home participation. It is very important.
• Active Participation – with lessons and Catholic Community

• Children's Bible
• Reconciliation Folder: Includes 1-Reconciliation Student Booklet, 8-Activity Booklets, 1-Map, Stickers, and 1-The Rite of Reconciliation and Keywords booklet.
• Eucharist Folder, a bible bookmark, and informational handouts for parents.

Students will need to bring their Backpacks with them to every class. The first semester they will only need to bring their Bible, Reconciliation folder, and bible bookmark.

1 . Go to  https://mlearn.smp.org/enroll.
Enroll Student(s). If you have multiple students in 2^nd yr Sac Prep, put their first names together.
Example: First Name - Mary & John
                      Last Name – Smith
You can use the same email If you have students in different grades.
 Choose an easy username and password.
2. Enter your unique class-specific code.
