Why am I so angry all the time? Why do I have waves of sadness where I just start crying? Why can’t I find my car when I walk out of the store? Why do I just want to hide from everyone? Why am I so lonely? Maybe these are all signs of grief, and I just don’t want to face it since my loved one died and I came home to an empty house. Am I the only one that feels this way? Maybe it’s time to get out and risk going to a Grief Support Group?
If you are at least 15 years old and looking for support, please join us on the third Friday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30pm in the Saints Peter and Paul classroom and take part in Our Lady of the Lake's Grief Support Group. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Our next meeting will be held on September 20th For more information about this group, or for individual spiritual support, please contact the group's leader, Deacon Charlie Stump at [email protected]
