Why am I so angry all the time? Why do I have waves of sadness where I just start crying? Why can’t I find my car when I walk out of the store? Why do I just want to hide from everyone? Why am I so lonely? Maybe these are all signs of grief, and I just don’t want to face it since my loved one died and I came home to an empty house. Am I the only one that feels this way? Maybe it’s time to get out and risk going to a Grief Support Group?
If you are at least 15 years old and looking for support, please join us on the third Friday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30pm in the Saints Peter and Paul classroom and take part in Our Lady of the Lake's Grief Support Group. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For more information about this group, or for individual spiritual support, please contact the group's leader, Deacon Charlie Stump at [email protected]
