Music plays an integral role in the life of Our Lady of the Lake. The bilingual hymnal, ORAMOS CANTANDO / WE PRAY IN SONG is the foundation of our worship experience.
Masses on Saturday 5pm and Sunday 8am are Organ and Cantor. Sunday 10am is led by Organ, the Schola Singers and volunteers from the congregation. Music at Sunday Noon and 4pm is led by a rotation of leaders who specialize in music in the Hispanic tradition.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall, TX seeks qualified candidates for the Part-Time (15-hr/week) position of Assistant Organist. OLL is a large Parish with a growing population that appreciates good music. The church is home to a II/25 Reuter pipe organ (the only pipe organ in Rockwall); a Baldwin SF-10 grand; Yamaha G1 baby grand, Kawai baby grand, and various upright pianos; 4 octaves of Schulmerich handbells. The sanctuary is a large and reverberant room that is excellent for a growing music program. While the OLL Schola is fairly new, the repertoire is demanding ranging from Chant to 21st-Century, with a strong slant towards Anglican cathedral repertoire and Roman Catholic traditional anthems.
Compensation is competitive and reasonable. The successful candidate must complete the Safe Environment background check and training to work in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas.
